Jim Dorame is a Database Systems Manager for a large scale educational assessment corporation in the Greater Minneapolis area. During the daylight hours Jim addresses performance issues, capacity planning, migrations and upgrades of databases. In general, he addresses all things database.
Jim has been working with Microsoft SQL Server since version 6.5, and looks forward to the new features that show up in every new edition of the product.
Out of the office, he works on giving back to the SQL community that has given so much to him through the years. Jim presents at SQL Saturdays, SQL users groups, and blogs. (His goal is to present on the big stage at PASS.)
Jim enjoys working with the Microsoft database stack and has started to learn where and how to use the Business Intelligence Stack, (SSIS,SSAS, SSRS). As he learn things he feels others could find useful, he will Blog about them and post tools in the Resources section.
